After a string of 11 wins, Ranchview's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the Decatur Eagles, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 415th, while the Eagles are ranked 206th).

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 12-4. As for Decatur, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-5-2.

Coming up, Ranchview will take on Caddo Mills at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Ranchview is facing Caddo Mills at the right time seeing as Caddo Mills is stuck on a three-game losing streak. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. Decatur will be up against Canyon's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.64 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
