Basketball Recap: Telstar Takes a Loss

Telstar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 46-14 defeat at the hands of the Forest Hills Tigers. The matchup marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Telstar's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Forest Hills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

After both having extra time off, Telstar and Pine Tree Academy will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 5:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Forest Hills, they will be home for the holidays to greet Greenville at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Forest Hills' defense has only allowed 23.5 points per game this season, so Greenville's offense will have their work cut out for them.
