Lee Christian came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Neuse Christian Academy, but Britt Petit wouldn't allow it. The Lions enjoyed a cozy 68-51 victory over the Falcons on Friday thanks in part to Petit, who shot 65% from the field en route to 28 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Reed Ransone, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 boards. Neuse Christian Academy is 2-1 when Ransone posts eight or more rebounds, but 1-2 otherwise.

Lee Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Wilson, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 13 points. Wilson is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Cayce Schoolcraft was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten boards.

The win got Neuse Christian Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Lee Christian, their record now sits at an identical 3-3.

Neuse Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-43 loss against St. Thomas More Academy on the 9th. As for Lee Christian, they will head out to challenge Southeastern Christian Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
