Volleyball Recap: Wayland Falls to Holland Christian in First Game of Season

Wayland unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Holland Christian Maroons on Wednesday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Maroons recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Holland Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

After both having extra time off, Wayland and Union will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on September 4. As for Holland Christian, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against West Ottawa on the 27th.
