Baseball Game Preview: Starkville Christian Cougars vs. Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors

The Starkville Christian Cougars are taking a road trip to challenge the Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Starkville Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Tuscaloosa Home Educators will be coming in after a loss.

Starkville Christian was handed a ten-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-10 win over Newton County Academy. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their one-run performance the match before.

Meanwhile, Tuscaloosa Home Educators didn't have quite enough to beat Southern Christian on Saturday and fell 7-6. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Starkville Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Starkville Christian skirted past Tuscaloosa Home Educators 6-5 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
