Basketball Game Preview: Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans vs. Wayne Country Day Chargers

The Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans are taking a road trip to square off against the Wayne Country Day Chargers at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Wesleyan Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.

Wesleyan Christian Academy managed to slip by The Burlington School the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Trojans were beaten by the Spartans 89-59 on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (56), the Trojans still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wayne Country Day, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They breezed past Northwood Temple Academy to the tune of 73-37 on Tuesday. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Wayne Country Day's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
