Baseball Game Preview: Southampton Indians vs. King's Fork Bulldogs

The Southampton Indians will face off against the King's Fork Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Southampton lost 10-4 to Smithfield on Wednesday.

Southampton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adin Brown, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Brown also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Gannon Ritter was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, King's Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Salem, falling 9-2.

King's Fork's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Southampton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
