Softball Recap: Andover Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Andover can now relate to. They fell just short of the Blaine Bengals by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday. The Huskies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bengals earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Andover saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Brown, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Andover and nudges their season record down to 16-8. As for Blaine, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Andover nor Blaine have any future games scheduled.
