Bishop Kenny waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the True North Classical Academy Titans by a score of 2-0.

Bishop Kenny never let True North Classical Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15.

Bishop Kenny's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alexis Sowers led the charge by getting 15 digs and two aces. Sowers has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played. Mia Ancayan was another key player, getting 13 assists and six digs.

Bishop Kenny's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for True North Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
