Baseball Recap: Buffalo Gets the Win

Buffalo had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cayuga Wildcats on Friday, sneaking past 4-2.

Buffalo's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was M Nedbilik, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Buffalo now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Cayuga, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.

Coming up, Buffalo will square off against Mumford at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mumford's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Buffalo's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Cayuga, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Cayuga Wildcats duke it out with Leon Cougars at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. They are strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.
