Baseball Recap: Carroll County Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Carroll County and Owen County, and Owen County kept the tradition alive. The Panthers lost 12-4 to the Rebels on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-4 defeat last Saturday.

Carroll County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Miller, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Brayden McIntyre also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Carroll County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Owen County, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7.

As of now, neither Carroll County nor the Rebels have any future games scheduled.
