The Fellowship Baptist Academy Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Calvary Christian Cougar at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

On Thursday, Fellowship Baptist Academy made easy work of Shining Light Academy and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Calvary Christian got the win against True Gospel Christian on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Calvary Christian was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15, 25-12.

Calvary Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Fellowship Baptist Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Fellowship Baptist Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Calvary Christian in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
