Sandpoint dropped their record down to 12-11 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins. They lost 7-1 to the Moscow Bears. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Sandpoint saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brennan Shaw, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

As for Moscow, they pushed their record up to 14-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games.

On Moscow's side, Butch Kiblen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up ten Ks. Kiblen has become a key player for the Bears: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-9 otherwise.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Andrew Hurley, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. JP Breese was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Moscow beat Sandpoint by a score of 15-5 later that day.
