For the second straight game, Cienega will face off against Pueblo. The Bobcats will take on the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cienega is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Cienega made easy work of Pueblo and carried off a 16-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Kylie Bristol made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Cienega got a massive performance out of Micaela Valenzuela, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Valenzuela has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Kay Morel, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles.

Cienega always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pueblo only posted an OBP of .263.

Cienega pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Pueblo, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Pueblo's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Cienega has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Pueblo, though, as they've been averaging only 2.7 strikeouts. Will Cienega keep running through batters, or will the Warriors buck the trend?
