Volleyball Recap: Churchland Gets the Win + How To Watch

Churchland hadn't done well against King's Fork recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Truckers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs. The Truckers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Bulldogs, so the Truckers were just returning the favor.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 32-30, 26-24.

Aiyana Samuels paced Churchland's offense, picking up four kills. Samuels got some help from Adriana Lomonaco and her five assists. Samuels also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Rebecca Naab, racking up three apiece.
