Football Game Preview: Chester County Eagles vs. Dyer County Choctaws + How To Watch

The Chester County Eagles will challenge the Dyer County Choctaws at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Chester County is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against McKenzie on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Eagles were beaten by the Rebels 41-7. The Eagles have struggled against the Rebels recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Dyer County's offense. They took a blow against South Gibson on Friday, falling 35-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Choctaws were not able to get on the board.

Dyer County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Chester County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Chester County was taken down by Dyer County 36-7 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
