Basketball Recap: Grant Takes a Loss

After flying high against Santa Fe South Pathways Middle College last Monday, Grant came back down to earth. The Grant Generals had to suffer through a 76-46 loss at the hands of the Putnam City Pirates. The loss continues a trend for the Generals in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now lost six in a row.

Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Putnam City, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grant has already played their next contest (against Deer Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Putnam City will take on Ponca City at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
