Wilson and Exeter Township pushed the score to 16-6 the last time they played Exeter Township, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Eagles. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won eight in a row.

The result came thanks to Ben Kulp's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Wilson's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tim Lengle, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Wilson's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Exeter Township, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-7.
