Baseball Game Preview: Northbridge Rams vs. Millbury Woolies

The Northbridge Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Millbury Woolies at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Northbridge will be strutting in after a victory while Millbury will be coming in after a loss.

Northbridge will bounce into Monday's game after beating Oxford, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Rams blew past the Pirates 9-0 on Friday.

The team relied heavily on Ryan Miley, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Costello, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Millbury didn't have quite enough to beat Auburn on Friday and fell 2-1. The Woolies haven't had much luck with the Rockets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Having lost for the first time this season, Millbury fell to 2-1. As for Northbridge, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Northbridge couldn't quite get it done against Millbury in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 5-1. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
