Jackson Steel Sage Delivers Best Effort of Season

Anderson was led to victory by Jackson Steel Sage, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Steel Sage rushed for 53 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 189 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.

Steel Sage must have Lincoln Park's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Steel Sage threw for 153 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes, and also rushed for 35 yards the last time he and the Railsplitters duked it out back in October of 2023.

Ashton Rooney Goes Supernova in Trenton Win

Ashton Rooney continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his tenth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 116 rushing yards. He rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. He didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception.

The victory (which was Trenton's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Rooney and Trenton will be playing at home against Chelsea at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
