Piedra Vista's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Volcano Vista, their win was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-2.

Everything came up roses for Volcano Vista against Piedra Vista in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 78-28 victory. In that contest, Volcano Vista amassed a halftime lead of 45-18, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
