Mott posted their closest win since April 26, 2025 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cousino Patriots, sneaking past 4-2. The four-run effort marked the Marauders' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The victory made it two in a row for Mott and bumps their season record up to 4-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Cousino, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Looking ahead, Mott will host Clawson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed nine runs per game on average), something the Marauders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Cousino, they will venture away from home to challenge Hazel Park at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
