Jacob Shaker Game Report: @ Hubbard

Lakeview had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Jacob Shaker sure wasn't going down easily. Shaker pitched 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. The effort marked the fewest hits he has had since back in May of 2024.

Even though Shaker couldn't lead Lakeview over Hubbard, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sadly, Shaker's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Bulldogs' three-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Shaker and the Bulldogs surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Wednesday's match.
