Baseball Recap: Booker Find Success

Booker won the last time they faced Bayshore and things went their way on Monday too. Booker walked away with a 10-7 victory over Bayshore. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tornadoes.

Booker let Kevion Carey and Joshua Azevedo run wild. Carey scored two runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-3, while Azevedo went 3-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those four stolen bases gave Carey a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dameer Watford, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Booker's record now sits at 7-8. As for Bayshore, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-7.

Coming up, Booker will face off against Gulf Coast H at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bayshore, they will take on Gibbs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
