Softball Recap: Fayette Academy Starts off Right with Win over Lakeland Preparatory

Fayette Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Lakeland Preparatory Lions as the Fayette Academy Vikings made off with a 16-2 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fayette Academy will square off against Trinity Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakeland Preparatory, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Lakeland Preparatory Lions face off against Fayette Ware Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on March 25th.
