Softball Recap: Kennard-Dale Rams vs. North Harford Hawks
It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Kennard-Dale ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 17-3 margin over the North Harford Hawks. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Rams considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Taylor Rinaudo made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
In other batting news, Kennard-Dale let Maddie Argiro and Aurora Schwab run wild. Argiro went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double, while Schwab scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave Argiro a new career-high in RBI. The win got Kennard-Dale back to even at 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kennard-Dale will head out to square off against Penn Manor at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Harford, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Havre de Grace at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Harford is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak dating back to last season.
