Volleyball Recap: Gateway Panthers vs. Auburndale Bloodhounds
With a playoff game on the line, Gateway rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Auburndale Bloodhounds. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bloodhounds, too.
The final score came out to 25-7, 25-22, 20-25, 25-15.
Gateway found their leader in underclassman Leimarys Padro, who had 19 digs.
Gateway pushed their record up to 8-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Auburndale, they moved to 10-13 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
As of now, neither Gateway nor Auburndale have any future games scheduled.
