Baseball Recap: Piscataway Comes Up Short

Piscataway managed to slip by Kennedy Memorial the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Chiefs lost 17-6 to the Mustangs on Thursday. The Chiefs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 9-8.

Piscataway's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Kennedy Memorial, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

While Piscataway had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
