Nordhoff is 8-2 against Carpinteria since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Rangers will head out on the road to take on the Warriors at 3:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Nordhoff fell victim to Fillmore and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Flashes. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Carpinteria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 15-4 to Channel Islands. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Nordhoff's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Carpinteria, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Nordhoff skirted past Carpinteria 11-10 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rangers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
