Softball Recap: Grand Ledge Beats Traverse City Central for Their Third Straight Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Grand Ledge had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Traverse City Central Trojans as they made off with an 8-1 win. The Comets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Grand Ledge, bringing their record up to 28-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Traverse City Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-11.

As of now, neither Grand Ledge nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
