Recap: Columbus North Bull Dogs vs. Seymour Owls

The Columbus North Bull Dogs were the 52-40 winner over the Seymour Owls when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Columbus North fell 60-50 to Seymour on Saturday. Columbus North has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Columbus North saw an underclassman step up: Caleb Ferguson scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Nathan Enneking, who scored 6 points along with 3 steals.

Columbus North's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Seymour, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbus North has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Silver Creek at 7:30 p.m. on December 1st. Allowing an average of 61 points per game, Silver Creek has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this matchup. As for Seymour, they will be playing at home against Brownstown Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Brownstown Central presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Seymour in Indiana (Brownstown Central is ranked 45th, while Seymour is ranked 145th).
