Basketball Recap: Jesuit Beats Southridge for Their Fourth Straight Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Jesuit had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They managed a 60-56 victory over the Southridge Skyhawks. Winning may never get old, but the Crusaders sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Jesuit's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-11. As for Southridge, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-5.

Jesuit and Southridge should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. Jesuit will take on Beaverton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 121 places (14 vs. 135). Meanwhile, Southridge (ranked fifth) will meet Mountainside (ranked 55th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
