If Chaparral wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Horizon, they should've done a better job of containing Peyton Schiltz. The Horizon Huskies walked away with a 50-38 win over the Chaparral Firebirds on Tuesday thanks in part to Schiltz, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in February of 2024.
The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Frazier, who posted six points in addition to eight boards and five assists. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played.
Despite the loss, Chaparral still got an impressive performance from Kaelie Weishaar, who put up 16 points along with five boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Margaret Connell, who earned six points and eight rebounds.
