Baseball Recap: New Hope Comes Up Short

New Hope lost against Madison County last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians came up short against the Tigers, falling 12-2. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Hope saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grant Maples, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

New Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Madison County, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-2.

New Hope does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madison County, they will head out to face off against Ardmore at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
