Soccer Recap: Clinton Extends Winning Streak to Two

It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Clinton ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They never let the Germantown Mavericks get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Clinton's winning goal came courtesy of Jayden Fields.

The win made it two in a row for Clinton and bumps their season record up to 6-0-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two matchups. As for Germantown, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-4 record this season.
