It was a good run, but Ida unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bluestreaks have suffered since April 5th.

Ida's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Plymouth Christian Academy, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 23-7.

Looking ahead, Ida will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Onsted at 4:00 p.m. The last six games the Wildcats have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Plymouth Christian Academy, they have already played their next game, a 14-2 win against Gabriel Richard on the 17th.
