Basketball Game Preview: New Hope Indians vs. Susan Moore Bulldogs

The New Hope Indians will face off against the Susan Moore Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

New Hope is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest defeat since November 19, 2024 on Friday. They took a blow against Plainview, falling 87-58. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Bears are ranked 30th).

Meanwhile, Susan Moore beat Vinemont 59-46 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Susan Moore has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for New Hope, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-10.
