You could field a few teams with these spooky names and play at Sleepy Hollow High School.

Video: Halloween-related athlete names
These athletes have the perfect name for Oct. 31.

It's All Hallows' Eve and time for a ghost story — only this one includes volleyball player Grace Ghost from Oak Hills (Hesperia, Calif.).

Or perhaps you'd prefer to trick or treat, as in football players Remington Trick of Manchester (North Manchester, Ind.) or Tashaun Treat of Silverton (Ore.).

And the best high school for the season is, of course, Sleepy Hollow (N.Y.). The school's mascot is naturally the Horsemen after the headless horseman in Washington Irving's famous short story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow."

There are dozens of high school athletes in the MaxPreps database with names that fit the season. We've highlighted a few in the video above.
