Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Berthoud

Berthoud waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wellington Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Berthoud was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-17.

Avery Tychsen paced Berthoud's offense, picking up 11 kills. Tychsen got some help from Libby Wilson and her 27 assists. Sasha Carter controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Berthoud's victory bumped their record up to 18-1. As for Wellington, they dropped their record down to 7-12 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berthoud will welcome Northglenn at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wellington, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Northridge at 6:30 p.m.
