Shady Spring will have to keep a close watch on Braydon Mullins and Peyton Mounts, a pair of players who had a big impact on PikeView's prior game. Mullins rushed for 66 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries, while Mounts rushed for 31 yards and one score.

Shady Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for PikeView, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Everything came up roses for Shady Spring against PikeView in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 41-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
