Recap: Juab Wasps vs. Providence Hall Patriots

The Juab Wasps won the last time they faced the Providence Hall Patriots, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Juab came out on top against Providence Hall by a score of 54-44. The win made it back-to-back wins for Juab.

Juab was led to victory by Austin Park and Braxton Hooper. Park scored 17 points, while Hooper dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Daymon Wright, who scored 9 points.

Loss or not, Providence Hall got some senior leadership from Dallin Wells who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds and Evan Fraser who scored 21 points. Fraser scored a full 47.7% of Providence Hall's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Ty Warnick was another key contributor, scoring 3 points along with 3 blocks.

Juab's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Providence Hall, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Juab will take on San Juan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully San Juan focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 last Saturday. As for Providence Hall, they will head out on the road to face off against Hunter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
