Basketball Recap: Hilltop Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

On Friday, the Hilltop Lancers didn't have too much trouble with the Bonsall Legionnaires as they won 54-39.

Hilltop found their leader in sophomore Adrian Alvarez, who went 5 of 9 en route to 11 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ami Blea, who posted seven points and three steals.

Hilltop smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Hilltop's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-12. As for Bonsall, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Hilltop will head out to face off against Logan Memorial Education Campus at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bonsall, they will be playing at home against High Tech CV at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
