Basketball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 46-10 loss at the hands of the Piedmont Panthers. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-4.

Tashia Quick was Central's leading scorer, having posted ten points.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Piedmont, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will take on North Central in a holiday battle at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday at. As for Piedmont, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Piedmont Panthers duke it out with the Union Academy Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
