Softball Recap: East Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for East's offense. They lost 19-0 to the Boardman Spartans on Thursday. East's loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Boardman, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-7.

East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Boardman, they are taking a road trip to take on Howland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
