Basketball Recap: Hot Springs Takes a Loss

After flying high against Charlo last Saturday, Hot Springs came back down to earth. The Hot Springs Savage Heat were beaten by the Flathead Valley Crusaders 79-50 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Savage Heat have suffered since February 19, 2024.

Hot Springs has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Flathead Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Hot Springs will challenge Victor at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hot Springs is facing Victor at the right time seeing as Victor is stuck on a six-game losing streak. Flathead Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
