Soccer Recap: Vero Beach Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Vero Beach after they claimed the first goal on Wednesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the West Shore Wildcats by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Vero Beach have lost by just one goal.

Vero Beach is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4-1. As for West Shore, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Vero Beach and West Shore will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Indians see the pitch they'll take on Melbourne at 6:00 p.m. on December 1. As for West Shore, their break will end when they face Bayside at 7:00 p.m. on December 3.
