Volleyball Recap: Maret Comes Up Short

Maret was the 3-1 winner over Connelly School of the Holy Child when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Frogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Connelly School of the Holy Child on Tuesday. The Frogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Maret actually scored more points across those four sets (89-82), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19, 7-25, 25-22.

Maret's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Connelly School of the Holy Child, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Maret will square off against Madeira at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Connelly School of the Holy Child, they will face off against Holton-Arms at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
