Baseball Game Preview: Durant Lions vs. Bishop Kelley Comets

For the second straight game, Durant will face off against Bishop Kelley. The Lions will welcome the Comets at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Durant is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Durant came up short against Bishop Kelley and fell 6-1. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Lucas McClure made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double.

The victory (which was Bishop Kelley's seventh in a row) raised their record to 27-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Durant, they now have a losing record of 13-14.
