Basketball Recap: Oregon City Piles Up the Points Against Lakeridge

Oregon City's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Lakeridge Pacers, posting a 67-34 win. The Pioneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season.

Oregon City has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.2 points. As for Lakeridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oregon City will challenge Tualatin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tualatin knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Oregon City likes a good challenge. As for Lakeridge, they will square off against Tigard at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Lakeridge is facing Tigard at the right time seeing as Tigard is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
