Meanwhile, Taylor Allderdice made easy work of Brashear on Thursday and carried off a 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won four matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.
Braelyn Altman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 16 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Delia Graham was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. That home run was her first of the season. Gracie Whitt was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.
Taylor Allderdice kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
The victory made it two in a row for Taylor Allderdice and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Perry Traditional Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
